Japan Consumption Tax (JCT) will force indie developers to stop offering their apps to Japan

We're very sorry to announce that we will stop to publish our apps My APKs, My APKs Pro and My APKs Install for Japan country because we cannot afford to pay a professional tax advisor to manage the JCT. Below the relevant email we received from Google:

Another unbelievable Android 5 (Lollipoop?) bug

After hours and hours of debugging and searching web for issues, we discovered this unbelievable Android 5 bug:

This leads the shortcut feature of My Volume to an anomaly only detectable after the reboot of the device.

Again and again and again Google is introducing absurd undocumented behaviors into its latest os version (see how many angry users are there about Lollipop audio and volumes issues). And again developers must spend (and waste!!!) their time to find solutions and to support users (that often do not understand who's to blame) instead of focusing in implementing new useful features.

Of course we will publish a new release of My Volume after fixing this new Lollipop bug.

Hash And Compare is on Google Play

We're ready to deliver another useful free and ad-free tool to get out digital hashes directly from your Android device !!!


A digital hash (or checksum) is like a signature, a fingerprint. Hash And Compare has two main usages.

The first is to calculate the hash checksum of a file with a specific algorithm. A typical use case is when you want to check the integrity of a file downloaded from a remote server (that commonly publishes the hash).

The second is a situation where you want to calculate checksums of two files to verify their equality/diversity, in other words to compare them.
